The B2B Connex Software Platform – Leveraging Your ERP Investment
The foundation of the B2B Connex solution underlying both B2B Connex Portal and B2B Connex Direct is a software “platform” designed specifically to leverage your existing ERP. This platform provides technical management of information across different ERP applications within a single manufacturer. For example, if a manufacturer is using manufacturing software from one system, and MRO procurement from another system, B2B Connex provides the management software to coordinate the information flow.
The B2B Connex platform also supports implementations across organizations that have multiple manufacturing plants where each operates the same ERP software, or across plants where each operates different ERP software. It provides a centralized distribution point for information such as purchase orders, whereby orders from multiple plants are sent to suppliers, and managed by a single buyer.
